What we have done
Our platform is designed to help students share their story, and serve the community. Since the start we’ve wanted to collaborate and connect with the community. Thus far, we had set booth in Southlake Town Square for the Lunar Year Festival and DiwaliFest. We’ve partnered with Kaarigariya Crafts, Joyful Arts, Healing Hands of Henna, Project Make, Macaroons, Madelines & More, and the Plushie Project to help them raise more than $350 and share their work.
Dragon Tutoring
Who we are
We have been a student-led tutoring organization based in Carroll Senior High School. Since February 2022, we have served over 120 hours of free, volunteer-based tutoring, for intermediate and middle students in their STEM and English classes. Alongside, we work to seamlessly transition middle-schoolers to the hectic life of high-school by providing valuable advice regarding time management, course selection, study tip, and more. We hope to expand outside of the Southlake area and serve more communities with our tutoring service.
How we do
We provide a platform for student with the interest of tutoring, at which we bridge students through one-on-one and group tutoring sessions in Carroll ISD.
- One-on-one sessions: We connects students and tutors based on each other’s availabilities. However, you may request a specific tutor after reviewing their bios. Once you are settled with a tutor, and with the tutor’s consent, you are able to communicate to the tutor directly about future sessions. - Group Sessions: We offer tutoring for Carroll Middle School extended days and preparation sessions for high school mid-term, AP, and final exams. Subjects sessions will be offered based on demand.
